Whether you want to spend a relaxing evening with friends or have a quiet dinner, Vins Fins is the perfect end to your day in Luxembourg City.

During a weekend in Luxembourg City, a visit to REED is a must. This fully plant-based restaurant stands out for creative and tasty dishes that prove that vegan food is anything but boring. From exceptionally composed burgers to a tofu teriyaki bowl with delectable combinations of fresh vegetables. Their innovative burgers have even been nominated twice for 'Best Burger Benelux'.

Hidden in the depths of Luxembourg City is the picturesque Grund district, a peaceful oasis along the winding Alzette River. Here you will find colourful houses and narrow streets. Among the historic buildings are cosy cafés, artisan shops and hidden courtyards. Highly recommended is the charming courtyard behind Neumünster Abbey, which you reach via a narrow path. Grund is the perfect place to leave the hustle and bustle of the city centre behind and immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Luxembourg City.

2. Corniche
Known as 'Europe's most beautiful balcony', the Corniche offers one of the most breathtaking views of Luxembourg City. This promenade winds along the old city walls with vast valleys below. It's a place where you watch the city from a distance, take photos and soak up the tranquillity of the surroundings. Exactly as slow travel is meant to be: deliberate and at your own pace.

3. Place des Martyrs
Between the streets of the Gare district lies the charming Place des Martyrs. The square is full of red roses and dominated by an elegant artwork by Henry Moore. He is a famous British sculptor known for his abstract forms and monumental sculptures. Plop down on a bench and admire the artwork. So this little square is definitely a must-see if you are in Luxembourg City.
