A must-see when visiting Maastricht: the Bisschopsmolen. You will find this water mill in the romantic Jeker Quarter. Take a seat on the wall and enjoy a piece of flan, which you eat out of your hand like the locals.

Why you really want to visit this place

To see, smell and taste the centuries-old chain of farmer-miller-baker, you are most welcome in the Bisschopsmolen and the adjacent traditional bakery on the Stenenbrug. Since 2005, the mill has been reunited with the artisan bakery. During a guided tour, you will experience the complete authentic process here, while enjoying Limburg Spelt flan and coffee. In the restored water mill, the miller grinds the ancient grain Kollenberger Spelt and the baker bakes the tastiest and healthiest types of bread and cake from it.
