National Monument Camp Vught
History
About this hidden gem
Today, on the site of the only former SS concentration camp in the Netherlands, you will find National Monument Camp Vught. Just five kilometres from the centre of 's-Hertogenbosch and on the 'European Cycling Route of the Year 2016': the Vincent van Gogh route.
Why you really want to visit this place
This memorial centre lets visitors look at history in a different way. The austerity of this historic place leaves few visitors unmoved: Interesting for young and old alike, this terrible piece of history is remembered. It makes visitors reflect on their own behaviour.
