Zuidas Botanical Garden

City Park

About this hidden gem

A botanical garden in Amsterdam with eight thousand species of plants and hybrids.

Why you really want to visit this place

All species of plants and hybrids in the Zuidas Botanical Garden are part of the National Plant Collection. Previously, the botanical garden was a system garden, with each plant family in a separate compartment. Over the years, the planting has morphed into a more catchy coherence of flowerbeds and paths. Today, apart from botanical species, lesser-known cultivated varieties can be found here. The Zuidas Botanical Garden also boasts the largest collection of cacti and succulents in the Netherlands.
