The Olmenhorst estate
Nature reserve
About this hidden gem
The Olmenhorst estate in North Holland has been growing fruit since 1890. Since then, the orchard has undergone a number of changes and is now truly 100% organic.
Why you really want to visit this place
Pick your own apples or pears from the tree, you won't find them fresher and more local. In the picking season from mid-September to the end of October, you can pick apples and pears in the orchard. You can also enjoy delicious food and drinks in the estate's Fruit Shed. This is also possible in the orchard itself, by the way, with a picnic package. Enjoy your meal!
