Surrounded by the Friesian meadows, you immediately feel at one with the beauty of the countryside. Kick back in the hammock and look out over the meadows. Who knows, you might spot a hare or one of the meadow birds in the area. Or go out for an afternoon of kayaking on the Morra, one of the most beautiful Frisian lakes. In the evening, the magic here is enhanced by the crackling fire of the wood-burning stove. While the fire crackles gently, you can feast on delicious marshmallows.

At de Genieterij, they are not only concerned with pampering you, but also with the well-being of the planet. The owners contribute to a greener future by using 60 solar panels that allow them to provide for themselves and reduce their ecological footprint. They have also provided a flowery verge, encouraging local biodiversity.
