Warmoes

In this authentic standard orchard and historic market garden in Lent, you can pick your own flowers, vegetables and fruit. From Wednesday to Sunday, the shop is open and you can enjoy a nice cup of tea in the garden café. On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in season, you can pick your own flowers, fruit and vegetables from 11am to 2pm.

Why you really want to visit this place

The Warmoes high-standard orchard is special cultural heritage. Some 80 old varieties of pear, apple, cherry and plum, such as the 'Sijden Hemdje' and the old-fashioned 'Sterappeltjes', make Warmoes a living museum. In addition, various vegetables are still cultivated like the Lent warmoes farmers used to do. This alone makes it fun to take a look! A team of volunteers lovingly and enthusiastically works to maintain this special garden. In the summer months, Warmoes serves as a green meeting place where everyone is welcome, where you can pick your own vegetables, fruit and flowers on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and then settle down in the orchard with a good cup of tea and a cake.
