In the middle of the Dorpsstraat is 't Praethuys. You might recognise this place on entering, as it is the regular pub from the TV series Dr Deen. In real life, it is also the regular pub on Vlieland. In 't Hoekje', Vlielanders stand together at the end of the afternoon to talk through the day.
