In 1553, widow Hid Hero founded the Orphanage and provided shelter, food, drink, clothing, education and work experience to the young orphans. Until 1990, this shelter served orphans and guardian children. In 2013, Mylan and Manon took over the building and transformed it into a small-scale hotel with 14 suites and a living room restaurant. Instead of a large menu, they serve a daily changing three-course dinner with a focus on fresh produce from artisanal local suppliers and flavours of the season.
