Several times a year, the Seagoing Tug the Elbe opens its doors as a Bed & Breakfast. A unique overnight stay on board a giant sea tug.

Why you really want to visit this place

The Elbe is currently in her home port of Maassluis, but in the past she has seen all the seas of the world. In 1959, she started as a sea tug, before serving as a pilot boat in 1976 to bring large ships into port. From 1985 to 2001, she was owned by Greenpeace as an action ship, after which she was restored back to the sea tug she originally was. So you sleep on a piece of history here, while bobbing in the harbour or on a multi-day voyage elsewhere.
