The House under the Lighthouse is beautifully situated by the Wadden Sea and at the foot of Lange Jaap lighthouse, in the very north of North Holland. The interior of the house has the charm of a hunting lodge. Owner Erwin is a furniture maker, so the house is full of homemade furniture made from natural materials. He lives self-sufficiently and hunts with his hunting dogs in the surrounding meadows. There is a yurt on the property for overnight stays, meditation and yoga sessions, and Erwin gives you fine tips on where to get local fair trade products.
