Fraeylemaborg country estate

History

About this hidden gem

The Fraeylemaborg was founded in the Middle Ages and is now a beautiful museum. The park surrounding the museum building is laid out in the original baroque style.

Why you really want to visit this place

Besides the museum and park, this estate also contains a restaurant, which is located in the former treasure house. Opposite is the coach house, which houses the museum shop and exhibition rooms. The orangery houses a playful presentation on the development of the park, from the Ice Age to the present, and the park features 17th- and 18th-century sandstone garden ornaments.

Check out a special experience on the estate, namely the barefoot path.
